It is primarily a battle of truth vs. a lie (John 8:44). It is also a battle for faith (Luke 22:31-32).<br /><br />There are some cases in which a demon is called a "King of persia" (Daniel 10:13ff). But, even that could be a demon specializing in some ideology. So, I would agree. Spiritual battles are primarily in our hearts and minds.
